Acknowledgement for the later Kathleen Gorman (Keady)

Kathleen Gorman’s son Patrick, daughters Pauline, Clare, Kathleen and Helen, grandchildren and entire family circle wish to thank all those who sympathised with them during their sad loss.To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed throughout mummy’s life. To all those who attended the wake and funeral, telephoned, messaged or posted online their condolences, brought mass cards, gifts of food and floral arrangements we thank you all very much.We thank all the ladies who made and served the tea and to the men who provided parking assistance and general work around the home.

We were overwhelmed with the large crowd who stood out to pay their own respects on the morning of the funeral.

We are indebted with gratitude to the priests of the parish Canon Crawley, Fr McCann and Fr McKeever for your pastoral care of mummy throughout the years she spent in Dunlarg Care Home and especially Fr McKeever for celebrating a very beautiful and uplifting funeral mass. To Davina Holland for the lovely music and singing which greatly enhanced the funeral mass also to the parish sacrisons for preparing the church.

No words can adequately express our thanks to the staff of Dunlarg Care Home for the excellent professional care mummy received there and indeed how we as a family were treated. We can say without reservation mummy was very content in your care. Also to her GP and all the staff of Willowbank surgery.

Thanks to the parish for the use of the hall for the post burial refreshments and to McEntees Crossmaglen for providing and serving it.

We thank also the gravedigger for preparing Mummy’s resting place in such a meticulous and tidy manner.

Finally to Bridget and team from Mone Funeral Directors for the complete, responsive and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements.

At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation and gratitude.

Kathleen’s month mind mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church Keady on Monday 31st July at 7pm (Novena mass).
