The family of Velma McMurray wish to express their thanks for all the love and sympathy which has been shown to them by their extended family and friends during their recent bereavement.
We have been overwhelmed by the support we have been shown, whether it is through attendance at her Thanksgiving Service, from the cards that we have received, people who have called to see us, those who sent us food but most especially by the prayerful support shown to us that is helping us get through this sad time.
We would like to thank all who visited Velma at home, in Hockley Nursing home and in hospital. Your visits brightened her days and helped her stay positive.
We would also like to thank all who were involved in the organisation of Velma’s Thanksgiving Service; all those who helped on the day and especially those who provided the refreshments. We appreciate all your assistance and support.
Our thanks go to Rev Andrew Martin for all his care, time and attention to detail in his preparation for Velma’s service but also for his dedication in visiting her and supporting us as a family.
Our thanks also go to K.G. Cheevers & Son for their professional service. You made life a little bit easier for us in this difficult time.
Thank you also to all who gave donations in Velma’s memory. We are all very touched by your kindness.
For us although as a family we miss Velma we are thankful she is now out of pain and is singing and rejoicing with her Saviour and Lord in heaven.
