McCann, Séamus, late of 4 Moninna Villas Chancellor’s Road Bessbrook. We, Séamus’ wife Jennifer, son Michael, daughter Laura and brother Patrick, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who offered their support and prayers when Séamus was ill and to those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement.
A special word of thanks to our extended family, friends and colleagues from the Education Authority and House Proud Furnishings and all those who visited the family home and came to Séamus’ funeral.
We greatly appreciate the cards, flowers, food and the numerous messages of condolences we received and the donations to Macmillan Cancer Support. We would also like to thank those we didn’t get an opportunity to speak to at the Funeral Mass.
A special word of thanks to those who cared for Séamus during his illness – Dr Fegan and Dr Flood and the practice staff in Cornmarket Surgery, the nurses from the South Armagh District Nursing and Palliative Care teams and the staff in the Mandeville Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital.
We are grateful to Father Dunne and Father Larkin for their pastoral support and to Kathleen Moore and Terry Rafferty for the beautiful singing and music at the funeral mass. We offer our most sincere thanks to Paul McEvoy and Sons Funeral Directors for their sensitivity, support and attention to detail in dealing with all aspects of Séamus’ wake and funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude for your support.
Séamus’ Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy’s Chapel Camlough on Saturday March 18, at 7.30 pm.
