Acknowledgement for the late Philomena Hughes (Keady)

Hughes, Philomena (Keady), (nee Johnson, Armagh)
The family of the late Philomena Hughes would like to thank family, friends and neighbours who supported us in our recent sad loss. We are deeply appreciative of those who telephoned or called to offer condolences and to all who lined the funeral route or who attended the funeral or watched the service online.

Thanks to all those who sent cards, tributes, messages, and flowers. Your support has given us great comfort these last few weeks and will sustain us for the time ahead.

A sincere thanks to Fr Aidan McCann for his guidance and celebration of the beautiful Requiem Mass, also to the singer Catherine Grimley and her accompanist, Dermot McCusker.

We are very grateful to the staff of Craigavon Area Hospital, Dr. Eoghan Fearon and Willowbank Surgery, the Community nursing team from Keady Health Clinic, the nurses from the Marie Curie team & twilight nursing staff who supported and called at night, and the wonderful carers from Ann’s Home Care, that looked after our mother at home these last few months.

Special thanks to Mone Funeral Directors for the professional and sensitive manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

We will remember you all in our thoughts and prayers and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be celebrated for you all. Philomena’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated for you all on Saturday May 15 in St Patrick’s Church, Keady at 7.00pm
