Acknowledgement for the late Peter Quinn (Armagh)

The family of the late Peter Quinn would like to express their gratitude to all who sympathised and supported them following their bereavement, especially family, friends, neighbours and those who called at the house or sent cards and sympathy letters.

A special thanks to Consultants Katherine Morrison and Liam Polley for their professional help over the past number of years. To Dr Siobhan O’Reilly from the Friary Surgery. To the staff at McKeevers Chemist Thomas Street also to Eilis, Frances, Shannon and Bernadette from the Southern Trust for your help and support for dad.

A heartfelt thanks to Consultant Gail Nicholson, Dr Luke Sherry and their Acute Care at Home Team for their professional help and care over the past month which we are truly grateful for.

To Marie Holmes and Siobhan Rooney from Motor Neurone Disease Association NI for their help, support and guidance over the past 9 years. To Mairead and Aidan O’Kane for the beautiful floral wreath.

To Rev. Fr Peter McAnenly for his many years of devoted pastoral care which meant so much to dad and the family. To Rev. Fr David Nugent for his beautiful words during the Funeral Mass and the kindness and support that he showed our family during this difficult period.

To Eilis Fox and Damian Cullen for the magnificent singing and music during the Mass. To Brian for preparing the grave, and finally to Quinn Bros. Funeral Directors Portadown for their highly professional manner and supportive role organising the funeral arrangements. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere appreciation.

May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Peter’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday November 2, at 10am in St Patrick’s Cathedral and can be viewed on the Cathedral webcam.
