A man has been charged connection with a major security alert in the Oakfield Gardens area of Moy over the weekend.
The 30-year-old has been charged with possessing explosives under suspicious circumstances and is due to appear before Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court on Monday, August 11.
As is standard procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charge follows a significant police operation which began on Friday, August 8, after officers received a report of a suspicious object at a residential property shortly before 4.40pm.
A large-scale public safety operation was launched, with cordons put in place and a number of local residents evacuated overnight.
Ammunition Technical Officers confirmed several viable devices were found inside the property and carried out controlled explosions.
Residents were able to return to their homes on Saturday morning, with police thanking the public for their patience and cooperation during the disruption.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
