Acknowledgement for the late Molly McGinn (Armagh)

McGinn, Molly.

The family of the late Molly McGinn would like to thank all those who sympathised with them during their very sad bereavement and loss of a dear mother.

To all our family, friends and neighbours whose help and support was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed throughout mum’s illness.

To all those who attended the wake, funeral, brought mass and sympathy cards, floral arrangements, telephoned, messaged or posted online their condolences we assure you these were greatly appreciated.

We thank also the many individuals and businesses who brought gifts of food to the wake.

We thank all those who cared for Mum at home during her illness especially Dr Roisin O’Reilly and the staff of the Friary Surgery, the Community Respiratory and District Nursing Teams, the Acute Care at home Team and the wonderful carers from Ann’s homecare who all collectively enabled Mum to remain in her own home.

We are so grateful to Fr Barry Matthews for his pastoral care of us as a family and for celebrating a very personal and fitting funeral mass.

We thank also Catherine and Dermot for providing the music which enhanced the mass, to Roger and team for preparing the church and the gravedigger for his services. We also thank Armagh City Hotel for post burial refreshments.

Finally the family are extremely grateful to Bridget and team from Mone Funeral Directors for the exemplary, complete, responsive, compassionate and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements .

At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.

Molly’s month mind mass will be held in St Patrick’s Cathedral on Sunday November 5, at 5:30pm.
