McAlister Mary, RIP. The sons and daughters of Mary, wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with them on their recent loss. Sincere thanks to all who called to see us, attended the wake, sent mass/sympathy cards, telephoned and sent messages via social media. Thanks also to those who made contributions to Trócaire and to those who provided food.
We are so grateful for the support and friendship of our kind family, friends and neighbours who offered such comfort and who attended the funeral mass.
We offer prayers and thanks for the late Fr McGinley RIP who supported us through our grief. We thank God for his guidance, friendship and good humour during our own loss and for the beautiful requiem mass which he celebrated for mummy.
We ask God to bring comfort to his own family and loved ones.
Thanks also to Andrea Begley and Patrick Slevin for the beautiful singing and music. To Kieran Kirk’s funeral services, thank you for the sensitive and dignified manner in which you carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks too, to Joanna and Mark and family and all who helped in catering for attendees at Lissan Hall.
To the carers who looked after mummy with gentle compassion and care, we are so grateful for your attentiveness and help.
For Dr. Graham, Dr. McBride and for all doctors and nurses who contributed to mummy’s care, we give sincere thanks.
To all who loved and cared for mummy, who visited her at home and kept in touch with her by phone, we thank you for giving of your time and giving mummy the company she loved and appreciated so much.
