Acknowledgement for the late Kieran ‘Dixie’ McBride (Armagh)

McBride, Kieran ‘Dixie’.

The family of the late Kieran (Dixie) McBride would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement of our much-loved Father, Father-in-law, Granda, Brother, Uncle and a great friend to many who was loved by all.

Thank you to all our family & friends who called to the house and attended the funeral service. It meant so much for us to see you all and to hear your stories and memories of Dixie.

To all those who helped at the wake, sent mass/sympathy cards, brought food, flowers and gifts; words cannot express how grateful we are for your kindness and generosity. To Laura, Luckas and the staff at Keegan’s Bar and to Ursula and Paul of Pearse Ogs for all their catering and hospitality.

Thank you to Doctor Bingham of Abbey Court Surgery, the carers of Ann’s Home Care, and the District Nursing Team for the excellent care and compassion they gave to Dixie.

A heartfelt thanks to all the Priests of Armagh Parish for the beautiful requiem Mass and to Joanne Mackle, Micky Gorman, Kieran Doherty and Micky Murtagh for the wonderful singing and music throughout the funeral. A special thanks to Hugo & the team at J.J. McArdle & Sons for their professionalism, guidance and help during this time.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed and provided help in caring for Dixie and helping with funeral arrangements. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere gratitude.

Month’s Mind Mass will take place Friday January 17, at 7.30pm in St Malachy’s Chapel.
