Acknowledgement for the late Kathleen Owens (Madden)

Owens Kathleen(nee Grimley), Drumacanver Road Madden. Kathleen’s daughter Cathy, sons Gary and Mark, son in law, daughters in law and grandchildren would like to thank all those who sympathised with them following their recent sad bereavement.

Sincere thanks to all who called at the house, sent mass and sympathy cards, telephone calls and messages and for all the local businesses who sent food over the wake period, Eddie and the staff at Rumour Coffee, Cordelias Chip shop, Phillipa at the Rolling Pin and SJ Bakes in Tynan, it was all greatly appreciated.

Thanks to Derry’s Furniture Annaghmore for providing the seats for the wake.

A special thanks to Fr John McKeever who celebrated the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thanks to Rev Canon Crawley for participating in the mass. Catherine and Dermot for the beautiful music and singing in the chapel and Kevin McBride for the piping.

We would also like to thank Ann and Philip of Armagh Blooms for the beautiful flowers for the wake and funeral.

Thanks to Brian Nugent the grave digger who prepared the grave and to Micheal Hughes for preparing the chapel for the funeral mass.

Thanks to all Kathleen’s relatives and neighbours who carried her coffin from her home to the chapel with such respect.

Thanks to the staff of A&E in Craigavon Area Hospital for the care shown to Kathleen and her family in her last few hours. Thanks to Tynan Surgery and Kathleen’s loving carers who looked after her with such dignity at home up to the very end.

To Hugo and Sharon at JJ McArdle & Sons Funeral Directors, for the dignified way in which they attended the funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank each person individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Kathleen’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 29, at 11am in St Joseph’s Church Madden.

Which will coincide with her loving Husband Jim’s 30th anniversary celebrated by Fr Sean Moore.

A special thanks to Fr Moore for facilitating this special mass.
