Acknowledgement for the late Kathleen Carragher (Cullyhanna)

Carragher, Kathleen.

We, the family of the late Kathleen Carragher, beloved mother of Eamon, Joan, Arthur, Aeneas and Enda, mother-in-law of Jennifer and Theresa, loving sister-in-law of Phyllis, grandchildren and great grandchildren and the entire family circle would like to express our deepest and sincere thanks to our extended family, friends, neighbours and those who travelled to sympathise and support us on the recent passing of our precious mother, Kathleen.

We would like to include those who sent mass cards, letters, floral tributes and messages of condolences via social media. A special word of thanks to those who helped during the wake and funeral including those who generously provided food and refreshments; we will be forever grateful and have taken great comfort from your kindness and support.

To the Doctors in Newtownhamilton Health Centre, Siobhan and the District Nurses, all the Carers and Sitters including Cullyhanna Pharmacy who looked after mammy’s needs with incredible care, kindness and compassion.

Thank you to the Members and Committee of St Patrick’s GFC for the organisation of car parking during the wake, for their Guard of Honour and for the use of their facilities after the funeral.

A special word of thanks to Fr Dermot Maloney for the beautiful and personal requiem mass celebrating mammy’s life as well as Canon Kearney who attended the house and funeral. We also thank Canon Michael Toner who attended mammy at home every month on his sick calls and more frequently to give her holy communion. Thank you to Joanna Doran and Dearbhla McCoy for the beautiful singing and music at mass.

We would also like to thank Seamus and Aisling Murray of Murray Funeral Directors for their dignified and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements, as well as the provision of food and refreshments after the funeral. We also acknowledge the grave digger, Andrew Stephenson who carefully prepared mammy’s final resting place.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere appreciation, gratitude and heartfelt thanks. Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Mass can also be viewed on the Parish Webcam: https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church
