Acknowledgement for the late Josie Quinn (Keady)

Quinn, Josie.

The family of the late Josie Quinn would like to thank all those who sympathised with them during their sad loss.

To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable over the wake and funeral.

A massive thanks to mummys sister Bernie Gordon who not only opened her home for the wake but could not do enough for us as a family and indeed for mummy over the years.

To all those who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass and sympathy cards, telephoned, messaged or posted online their condolences we assure you these were greatly appreciated. We thank also the many individuals and businesses who brought gifts of food to the wake and in particular Cordelias and Raffles in Armagh.

Thanks to all the medical and nursing staff of Craigavon hospital who cared for Josie through many admissions and to Willow Grove Care Home whose care was exemplary.

Sincere thanks to the priests of the parish who visited the wake especially Fr Peter McAnenly and to Fr Aidan McCann who celebrated a very beautiful funeral mass. To Catherine and Dermot for the wonderful music to enhance the celebration of the Mass and to the Sacriston who prepared the church.

Finally to the gravedigger for preparing the grave in such a meticulous way and to Mone Funeral Directors for the complete, responsive and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements.

At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.

Josie’s month mind mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church Keady on Sunday September 10, at 11:30am.
