Penning, Jan, (Armagh). The family of the late Jan Penning would like to sincerely thank all those who offered support and sympathy to them during their recent bereavement. To everyone who attended the wake, gave mass/sympathy cards and sent condolences..
A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Area Hospice and the male medical ward at Daisy Hill hospital where Jan received excellent care during the final three months of his life.
Thanks also to Fr Emanuel for the funeral mass and to Eilis Fox and Sarah Kelly for the beautiful singing and music on the day. A special mention for her version of the Red Rose Cafe which was one of his favourite songs and could often be heard singing it.
Finally thanks to Marty Kelly Funeral Directors for their handling of the funeral arrangements.
A donation in lieu of flowers was made to Southern Area Hospice.
Jan’s months mind mass will be on Tuesday March 28, at 10am in the Cathedral.
