Acknowledgement for the late Ivan Hutchinson (Portadown)

Obituary

Hutchinson, Ivan (Portadown). The family of the late Ivan William Hutchinson wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them after their recent bereavement.

A special thanks to the Portadown District Nursing Team, the staff of Craigavon Area Hospital and also the Royal Victoria Hospital for all their help and care towards Ivan over the years. Sincere thanks to the staff from the Haematology Ward 5, at Craigavon Area Hospital who cared for Ivan in the later stages of his illness. We, as a family, will be forever thankful for the care and loving support given to Ivan at that difficult time.

We would like to express our appreciation to Revd Bill Atkins, of St Mark’s Parish Church, Killylea, for conducting the service at the home and also the graveside; alongside his compassionate and prayerful support during this difficult time. His kind words brought much comfort to the family.

Thanks also to Joseph Poots & Sons Funeral Directors, for their professional and sensitive manner in carrying out the funeral arrangements and the church wardens for their respectful help.

Thank you to St Mark’s Parish Church, Killylea, for their use of the church hall and to Crozier’s Outdoor Catering for the food served after the funeral.

We are so grateful for the kind friends and family who called at the home, attended the funeral, brought gifts, sent messages of sympathy and encouragement, telephoned, or helped in any way. The family took great comfort from this support. It is impossible to thank everyone individually, but we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all in grateful appreciation.

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. John 11:25-26
