Armagh I Death Notice

Loughran, George.

The family of the late George (Geordie) Loughran wish to express their sincere thanks for all those who sympathised with us in their recent bereavement.

A special word of thanks goes to Fr. Barry Matthews for his spiritual support, guidance and for a very uplifting Requiem Mass. Sincere thanks also go to the Sacristan, and those who prepared the grave for George’s final resting place.

Thank you also to all those who contributed to the Requiem Mass, those who read, took part in the Offertory Procession, the Eucharistic Ministers and to Eilis Fox and Sara-Jane Kelly for the beautiful music that enhanced our service.

The family wish to sincerely thank all our relatives, friends and neighbours on the Tyra Road who sympathised and supported us during our time of need.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank those who called at the wake, attended the funeral, sent cards, phoned, and visited the family home. We will be forever grateful.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and Nurses in Abbey Court Surgery, Armagh, and Craigavon Hospital for the exemplary care they took of George in recent times.

Finally, sincere thanks to Hugo and Sharon McArdle and their staff for the compassionate, professional, and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

George’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 4, at 6:30pm in St. Patrick’s Cathedral Armagh. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
