The family of the late George Kennedy would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of George’s extended family members and his very many friends and former colleagues who called at the family home in Portadown to sympathise, sent cards and flowers, brought food and attended George’s funeral service on July 5, 2023.
Many thanks also to all the medical personnel and PSNI officers who arrived very quickly on the scene in Belfast on the afternoon of George’s death, the staff and chaplain at the Royal Victoria Hospital, the clergy and choir at Seagoe Parish Church, together with members of the Portadown Male Voice Choir who sang at George’s service.
As it would be impracticable to thank everyone individually, we hope that this message of thanks will be accepted by everyone mentioned above as a small token of our heartfelt appreciation. Your collective kindness has been, and will continue to be, a great source of comfort.
