Ward (née Guy). Deirdre. April 15, 2023 (peacefully) at the Renown Hospital, Reno, Nevada after a short illness, wife to Sean, mother to Grace and the late Ashley, daughter of Kathleen and the late Brendan Guy, sister to Eimear McSherry, Michelle Murphy, Stephanie Rafferty, Madeline Bratton and Brendan, Gerald and Gary Guy.
The family want to thank all those who called at the home, sent beautiful flowers, mass cards, messages of sympathy, phone calls and text messages, they were all very much appreciated. It really helps to know that there are wonderful people like you who care during a time like this.
Thank-you for thinking of us and sending a kind word to help ease our burdens. Special thanks to all the nursing and medical staff of Renown Hospital, Reno, Nevada, for their care of Deirdre. To Fr.Peter McAnenly for his spiritual guidance and support during this difficult time.
Thank-you all for your prayers and thoughts, we are grateful for friends like you at this time of sorrow. Knowing that we were not alone helped us bear our grief and sadness. Thank-you for being there for us.
Deirdre’s Months Mind Mass will be at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh, May 13, at 6:30pm.
