Acknowledgement for the late Brian Fitzsimons (Armagh)

Fitzsimons, Brian, (Drumconwell Road Armagh). Eileen, daughters and the wider family circle of the Brian wish to convey their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

Thanks to all the carers, District nurses, the O.T department, Willowbank surgery and Partridge chemist for the care and attention given to Brian during his illness. A special thanks to Fr Greg for the kindly and regular spiritual care given to Brian and for making his funeral Mass so special. Thanks also to Fr Brennan and Fr Paddy for concelebrating the mass and to Fr McAnely for his prayerful presence. Thanks to Colm and Armagh Cathedral Choir for their beautiful singing at his funeral Mass and a special thanks to Bernie for organising that. Thanks also to Liam and Petrina for preparing the church.

The family wish to thank all our friends and neighbours who visited and helped Brian enjoy his last year and whose wonderful help was so appreciated over the wake and funeral. Thanks to all those who messaged and sent cards and to all those who attended the wake and funeral.

Bridget Mone (funeral director) offered us help and advice and organised the funeral paying attention to every last detail. Her kindly advice was, very much appreciated by all of us.

The Holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Brian’s month mind mass will be held on Monday March 7, at 7:30pm in St Patrick’s Church Ballymacnab.
