Acknowledgement for the late Baby Aria Shields (Portadown)

Shields, Aria.

The family of the late Baby Aria Shields would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all their family, friends, and the wider community who visited the house and attended the funeral. We are grateful for all the cards, messages, and calls, which have truly helped us cope during this difficult time.

We extend our thanks to Reverend Alister Bell for ensuring that Aria’s send-off was everything we could have hoped for, as well as to Quire Belfast and Niamh for providing beautiful and personal music.

Additionally, we express our sincere thanks to McAlinden and Murtagh for their funeral arrangements, especially to Louise for her genuine support and guidance, which we will never forget. We also wish to thank all the staff at the Royal Hospital and Craigavon Hospital who cared for Aria and her family.

One month of our angel flying high. She will forever be missed and always be loved. Let her rainbow continue to guide her mummies, grandparents, aunties, and the many others who were touched by her brief but special life.

To commemorate Aria’s first month anniversary, we kindly invite all our family and friends to join us in lighting a candle tomorrow evening at 7pm and share it on your socials and tag us.

Her light will forever shine brightly.

“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
