A man has died following an accident in south Armagh earlier today.
It is understood a worker was crushed under a road roller while laying a new road surface.
The incident happened on the Bog Road outside Forkhill this afternoon (Wednesday).
Police and the Health and Safety Executive are currently investigating.
Inspector Lynne Corbett said: “We are liaising with the NI Health and Safety Executive. There are no further details at present.”
The road has been closed while investigations are ongoing.
