A word of warning has gone out to runners and cyclists using Craigavon Lakes.
Malicious attempts have been made to injure members of the public, it has been alleged.
According to the Craigavon City Park and Lakes campaign, they have received reports of “dangerous activity” around the Lakes.
In a social media post on Wednesday night, they warned: “It seems someone has strung heavy duty plastic ropes from tree to tree across the paths at head height to knock runners and cyclists off.
“Someone had to take down three plastic ropes to avoid injury.
“Be careful if you’re going round the lakes this evening.”
