Emergency services attend scene amid reports cyclist struck by vehicle at Moy Road

Traffic diverted as medical personnel attend scene

Emergency services have attended the scene of a road traffic collision on the Moy Road, close to Armagh.

There are reports that a cyclist was struck by a vehicle.

Eyewitnesses have told Armagh I that an ambulance attended the scene.

It happened close to the entrance of the Spires Retail Park after 9pm.

The eyewitness said the cyclist was with a small group of others and ambulance crews were still dealing with the incident shortly before 10pm – when she left the retail park.

Police were directing traffic travelling towards Armagh on the main Moy Road on to the Drumcairn Road at Abbey Park. Traffic was also being diverted on the Armagh side.
