Armagh man Stevey McGeown has launched his latest Epic Adventure.
Known for his ‘off the wall’ sensational challenges, the charity man is set this time for a 24-hour racing challenge against a horse – the first of its kind!
The grand contest is set to take place from 2pm on Friday, June 30 to 2pm on Saturday, July 1, at the Palace Demesne, Friary Road, Armagh.
Speaking at the launch, Stevey said: “This is going to be an incredible event and I am calling out to all runners in the surrounding areas to come along and join in for a once in a lifetime opportunity to test your metal against a horse.
“If you are not into the running, no worries just come along and enjoy the entertainment – it will be Epic.”
The 24-hour long event will be a family fun festival with lots of activities, entertainment and music ongoing throughout the challenge.
Everyone is encouraged to come along and get involved in this epic event, no matter how small or big. Get the date into yourdiaries!
All proceeds from the event will be to support ‘Run for Autism HAND’ – a locally based charity which helps those living with autism and their families in the Armagh and Newry areas.
