Scarva Stroll and Duck Hunt to raise money for Marie Curie

Charity's Craigavon Fundraising Group invite all to come along

Following last year’s success, the Marie Curie Craigavon Fundraising Group will again have a Big Duck Hunt at their annual Scarva Stroll this coming Saturday.

But this year, rather than the big plastic ducks previously used, the children from Tandragee Primary School’s Breakfast Club have decorated some duck templates to use. It comes after several of last year’s ducks were stolen.

The group hope that after the success of last year’s event, the Scarva Stroll and Big Duck Hunt will continue to grow.

A healthy stroll along the towpath starts at the Visitors Centre at 10.30am.

The cost is a minimum donation of £10 per family and the kids will get a card with clues to find the ducks and space to note the ducks name.

On returning to the starting point a small prize awaits all children who take part.

Don’t worry if there is dancing/sports clubs on in the morning – pop along any time up to about 1pm and you can still take part!
