Amanda St John arrives at Armagh’s Market Place Theatre this Friday

Amanda St John arrives at Armagh’s Market Place Theatre on Friday, October 4 for an evening of Soul and R&B.

The singer/songwriter from Co. Antrim, has received rave reviews and worldwide airplay of her debut album ‘Grow’, which was released in 2016.

With comparisons to Dusty Springfield and Imelda May, St John, she has been described as a ‘head-turning vocalist with serious song writing prowess… a sensational artist’ [Visit Dublin].

In May 2018 she became the first Irish independent artist in history to record in the legendary FAME Studios, Alabama.

Some of the most iconic artists in the world have recorded there, including Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Wilson Pickett, and Solomon Burke.

Amanda now presents this album ‘The Muscle Shoals Sessions’, along with a full band. Amanda will be supported on the evening by Armagh favourite, Tony Villiers.
