Keep up with Armagh i

Clubsound and Jimmy Cricket in Armagh!

THERE will be a taste of nostalgia in the air at the Market Place Theatre next Friday night, March 1, as the  Ballymoor Grousebeaters meet Ballygobackwards!

This will be a wonderful night of cabaret featuring two of Northern Ireland’s best loved acts!

‘Clubsound’, Ireland’s premier comedy showband, were part of the Ulster heartbeat through the Troubles and helped people forget their worries with comic songs like, Belfast, Belfast, Tonga LOL, Daddy’s Wee Balloons, Nigel Courtney, The Reluctant Exile and The Singing Farmer,  becoming sure fire favourites with  crowds throughout Ulster’s thriving cabaret scene.

Special guest  is Jimmy Cricket, from the the fictional town of Ballygobackwards, the Irish comedian with the funny hat, who wears his wellies on the wrong feet and regularly gets a letter from his Mammy!

Tickets for the show, which begins at 8pm, are priced from £15. Visit www.marketplacearmagh.com for more information and to book.
