Annual Cuan Mhuire Christmas festive food and craft fayre

Event takes place next Saturday from 12 noon

Cuan Mhuire, Newry is hosting its Annual Christmas Festive Food and Craft Fayre on Saturday, November 25.

The event will run from 12noon, and Sr Consilio, together with residents, management and staff, extend an invitation to all to come along and enjoy the day.

Come and join in on a wonderful Christmas family day out, craft stalls with wonderful handmade gifts and delicious homemade treats, wheel of fortune, face painting, raffles and musical entertainment.

There will be plenty of fun and festivities for young and not so young, Santa and his elves will be arriving at 1.30pm and you can visit him in his very own Christmas cottage and tell him what is on your list for Christmas.

Cuan Mhuire was founded by Sr Consilio Fitzgerald and is currently Irelands largest voluntary provider of support and treatment for individuals suffering from addiction and other related issues.

Sr Sheila from Cuan Mhuire spoke at the launch of this years Christmas event.

She told those present: “We couldn’t continue our work without the wonderful generosity of families, community and individuals.

“We really appreciate their support.

“On behalf of the Cuan Mhuire family I extend an invitation to all to feel free to call into our Christmas Festive Food and Craft Fayre at our Newry centre on the Old Dublin road between 12noon and 4pm.”
