The eighth annual 7 Hills Blues Fest finally gets underway in Armagh today.
From 6pm this evening (Thursday) right through until Sunday, a total of 50 acts, groups and musicians will perform at more than 20 venues across the city.
Armagh I will be covering as much of the festival as we can so stay tuned for full coverage throughout the weekend.
It all begins with Courtnay and the Dukes at the Armagh County Museum from 6pm, before Don Baker and Rob Strand Band take to the stage in the Market Place Theatre from 8pm. For tickets, click here.
The music continues with Tail Piece performing in the Station Bar from 9pm before the evening’s entertainment culminates in SoulShine Blue in Viva (pictured) from 10pm.
SoulShine Blue are a six-piece soul/blues band. This set up consists of drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, saxophone and two female vocals.
They include a number of genres such as blues, rock and soul from artists such as Imelda May, Joe Bonamassa, Rory Gallagher and Eric Clapton. Check them out here.
