MLA Justin McNulty takes up management reigns at Armagh club

Former All-Ireland winner and standing MLA Justin McNulty will take over the management reins at Killeavy next season.

McNulty will assume control of the south Armagh club, following on from Paul Gallagher and Paddy McGuinness’s successful reign, which saw them lead the club to an intermediate title earlier this year.

The SDLP MLA is no stranger to management, having spent three years in charge of Laois; a stint which saw him achieve  an All-Ireland quarter-final spot and a place in Division One of the National League.

The 2002 All-Ireland winner has been involved with several clubs throughout his GAA career, but it will be his first step into management in his home county for the Mullaghbawn man.

Last year he acted as a selector for Kieran McGeeney’s senior side.
