Armagh manager Paul Grimley has had to deal with his first setback following the news that Jamie Clarke will not be available to the squad in 2013.
Gaelic Life reports that the Crossmaglen Rangers attacker has informed Grimley of his decision to go travelling next year, ruling him out of inter-county action.
Clarke, who has been one of the county’s top forwards in recent years will however remain in the country until Crossmaglen’s All-Ireland club campaign is over.
The news is a big blow to Grimley, who is already making a lot of changes to the squad, but Clarke is one player that he would hoped to have.
