The death has occurred of Samuel Hawthorne (Dromore)

Hawthorne, August 18, 2021, (unexpectedly but peacefully) at hospital aged 69 years, late of Ballynahinch Road, Dromore and formerly of Banbridge Road, Dromara. Samuel Walker (Sam), dearly loved husband of Jane and loving stepdad to Emma-Jane and Evie. Much loved brother of Thomas, Eddie, Margaret (Carlisle), Adelaide, John and Robert, brother-in-law to Lillian, Beane, Audrey and the late Phil and Tommy. Dear uncle to Rhonda, Gray, David, Suzanne, Jonathan, William, Anne, Heather, Charlene, Belinda, Stuart, Craig, Charlotte and Amy.

A private funeral service will be held in Christ Church, Hillsborough Road, Lisburn on Saturday August 21, (numbers limited due to social distancing regulations) and afterwards to Dromore New Cemetery (Mound Road) for burial. No black attire by request.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, payable to Air Ambulance N.I. c/o Ronnie Thompson Funeral Directors, 20 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, BT28 1UF.

Sam will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by the entire family circle.
