Dr. Mac an Airchinnigh, (Dublin, formerly Lurgan) September 13, 2023, after a short illness, in the loving care of St Francis Hospice, Raheny, late of Maynooth and of Trinity College. Mícheál, predeceased by his wife Isabelle, deeply regretted by his daughters, Eloïse and Thérèse, her partner Panagiotis, grandchildren Nicholas, Michael and Keelin Rose. Greatly missed by his partner, Sheila Deegan and her family, his sisters, Deirdre, Anne and Margaret, brothers Gerard and John, Seamus and Joe, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, friends, and former colleagues and students at home and around the world.
Reposing in Jennings Funeral Home, Springdale Road, Raheny on Thursday from 3pm-5pm. Removal on Friday to St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf for funeral Mass at 10.00 followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. The funeral will be streamed live here.
