Hughes, (Bessbrook) (nee Woods) October 7, 2021, passed away (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family at her daughter Catherine’s residence, after a short illness. Bernadette RIP, dearly beloved wife of the late Dermot RIP, devoted mother to Edmund, Aidan, Bridget, Catherine and Barbara Anne, caring mother-in-law to Bronagh, Teresa and Paul, a loving grandmother and great grandmother, cherished sister of Gerry, May, Geraldine, Martina, Kevin, Anne, Sarah, Malachy, Bronagh and the late Raymond RIP and a dear friend.
Bernadette’s remains will repose at her daughter Catherine’s residence 8 Castle View, Jonesborough for family and friends.
Funeral cortège passing the entrance to Derramore Crescent at 10:40am for Requiem Mass 11am Saturday October 9, in the Church of The Good Shepherd, Cloughreagh, interment in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Bessbrook.
House strictly private for family on Saturday morning.
