The family of the late Mary Murphy, son Dermot, daughters Elaine and Judith and the entire family circle would like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest and most heartfelt appreciation to all of you who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. We valued greatly everyone who generously gave their time to comfort us through the loss of our Mum, Granny, sister and friend. To all those who surrounded us with their love, care and support we extend to you our gratitude. We greatly valued each and every one who took the time to phone, send Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and floral tributes.
Thank you to all of the staff of Daisy Hill Hospital and healthcare professionals within the community who treated Mary with such incredible care and compassion Also, the Macmillan nurses for their unfailing support at this difficult time.
The Parish of Newry offered us deeply appreciated pastoral care, especially Fr Noel Kehoe who reflected our Mum’s life and laughter in a beautiful Mass. We extend our gratitude to all of you for your contributions and inclusion within Fr Kehoe’s celebration. Lilli O’Callaghan sang beautifully with guitar accompaniment by Gareth and we are extremely grateful to both of you.
Finally, thank you to Ciaran, Declan and Patricia of Heaney Keenan Funeral Directors for their professional and compassionate support given to us at this profoundly difficult time, made so much harder due to the current restrictions as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
We look forward to a gathering of Mary’s family and friends to share stories and memories to cherish, to pray for Mary and to offer hospitality in the way we would have liked to but were unable to within the present circumstances.
May she Rest In Peace with Frank her beloved husband and son Brendon. We extend our warmest welcome to you to join us at Mary’s months mind mass to be held in St Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street on Sunday 17th January at 11am or it can be viewed online HERE
