Woman who caught burglars assaulted and thrown to ground

A woman was assaulted by burglars when she disturbed them at her own home in Portadown, Co Armagh, at the weekend.
Police in Portadown are appealing for information following the robbery and assault, which happened in Ballybay Mews.
On Saturday, January 18, around 6pm, a 27-year-old woman disturbed burglars at a house in Ballybay Mews, off the Loughgall Road.
The burglars were attempting to remove white goods from the premises.
Two of the intruders grabbed the female, threw her to the ground and assaulted her before taking her phone and making off in a silver Volkswagen car.
One of the men is described as being 5ft 8in tall, of slim to medium build with ginger/fair hair. He spoke with a local accent and was wearing dark clothing. The second is described as being around 6ft tall, of slim to medium build and spoke with a local accent. He was also wearing dark  clothing.
