Witness appeal after ram raid at industrial estate

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following a ram raid burglary at Greenbank Industrial Estate.

Detective Constable David Skillen explained: “Sometime between 7.30pm and 8.10pm on Wednesday, 15 April a dark coloured van rammed a tyre business in the industrial estate. A number of tyres were stolen. The roof rack came off the van, which was possibly a transit type, and it would have sustained damage to the rear.

“We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident or anyone who observed a dark coloured van with damage to the rear in the area around this time. We can be contacted in Ardmore on 101.”

If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
