Windows smashed in second ‘hate crime’ attack at flat

Police in Lurgan are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage which is being treated as a hate crime.

Sergeant Duncan McBain, Lurgan NPT, explained: “Around 2am on Thursday, 16 October, two windows of a flat on Edward Street were smashed. Windows of the same flat were also damaged in a previous incident on 12 October.

“We are treating this as a hate crime and would ask anyone with information to contact us in Lurgan on the 101 number, quoting ref: 68161014.”
