Retailer "extremely delighted" at sale of winning ticket

Was it you?

One lucky punter has scooped a tidy sum in the Irish Lottery.

Omeath Fuels, in Dundalk, has been notified that it sold the winning ticket.

But who was it and has it been claimed?

A €71,875 windfall was the top prize in last Wednesday’s draw.

There were no jackpot winners, but the handsome payout was the return for five numbers and the bonus ball.

The winning numbers were 2, 7, 9, 35, 41 and 45, with the bonus ball 22.

Omeath Fuels in Dundalk is a popular place for locals who fancy a flutter on the Irish National Lottery.

The retailer has been presented with the official display from Lotto to confirm the sale of the lucky ticket.

The retailer is “extemely delighted” to have sold the ticket and offered “massive congratulations” to the winner on the life-changing sum.
