Two men attack woman in her own home before making off with cash

Police in Portadown are appealing for information following an incident in Tandragee Road.

Around 9.05pm on Saturday, 1 March, the female occupant of a house answered a knock to her door and a man pushed into her house, demanding money. The occupant handed over a sum of cash and the male made off.

A second male remained at the front door and did not enter the house or speak.

The first male is described as being 5ft 11in tall, approximately 28 years old, of stocky build with a shaved head. He was wearing a black puff coat made of knitted material, a black scarf and jeans. He spoke with a local accent.

The second male is described as being around the same age, height and build and was wearing light grey coloured jeans and a grey hoody.

The occupant was left very shaken by the incident.

Police are appealing to anyone who noticed males of these description in the area around this time or has information in relation to this incident to contact them in Portadown, quoting ref: 1057010314.
