Two men have been arrested following a drugs seizure with a street value of over £2,500 in county Armagh.
Police searched two houses in Portadown – in Baltylum Meadows and Garvaghy Park – on Wednesday, March 11.
Detective Constable Catherine Kearney said: “We seized cannabis with an estimated street value of over £2500, cash and mobile phones. A 31 year old man was arrested for possession of Class B drugs, possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply and possession of criminal property. A 29 year old man was arrested for possession of Class B drugs, possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply and obstructing a drugs search. Both men were later released on bail pending further enquiries.
“Preventing and detecting the supply and use of drugs is a priority for us and we would encourage anyone with information to contact us so we can take action and prevent and detect drug use. We can be contacted on 101.”
