Teenager charged after burglary in Poyntzpass

Tandragee Neighbourhood Policing Team have arrested and charged a man following a burglary in Poyntzpass.

Constable Ross Turner explained: “On November 7 we received a report of a cement mixer, bags of cement and tools taken from a container at a new build site on Old Road, Poyntzpass.

“We conducted a search in the Lawrencetown area and recovered a cement mixer and bags of cement.

“A 19-year-old man was arrested and later charged to appear before Armagh Magistrates Court on December 2. As is normal procedure the charge will be reviewed by the PPS.”
