Substantial damage and items stolen after break-in at Glenavon FC’s press box

Police in Lurgan are appealing for information following a theft and break in at Glenavon Football Club, Mourneview Park.

Some time between 5 June, 2014 and 5 July, 2014, the press box at the grounds was broken into. The press box contained newly installed electronic equipment, two laptops and a number of hard drives.

The laptops were stolen and substantial damage was caused to the rest of the equipment.

The name PETER was also written on the wall of the press box.

Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity around the press box or in the grounds during this time or has information in relation to this incident to contact them in Lurgan on the 101 non-emergency number.
