Southern Hospice plans two-day fundraising trek of stunning Lecale Way

The Southern Area Hospice has launched a new fundraising event in the form of The Lecale Way Hospice Challenge.

The Lecale Way of County Down is characterised by pretty villages, wild coastline, tower houses, castles and other historic sites.

Grab the opportunity to explore and discover the outstanding natural beauty of The Lecale Way, trekking 38.3km/24miles over two days along the wild coastline of Strangford Lough, taking in the best of the scenery and breath-taking landscape.

And you get to experience a night camping under the stars roasting mallows around the fire.

You don’t want to miss out on this great experience and opportunity to explore a majestic part of the country we live in. Think you’re up for the challenge? Contact Amy on Fundraising on 028 302 51333 to find out more.

Fundraising for the Hospice is vital work. Currently The Fundraising Department has to raise £2.5 million in 2017 to maintain the level of care currently available. Help the Hospice help others!
