Two men have been arrested following reports of an assault in Cullyhanna yesterday (Tuesday).
The incident occurred in the Drummond Road area of the village at around 12.30pm.
Two men aged 59 and 30 were arrested, before being released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Police received a report of an assault which occurred at the Drummond Road area of Cullyhanna on Tuesday 13th August.
“At around 12:30pm, it was reported that an altercation occurred in the area. Two men aged 59 and 30 were arrested and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.”
