A south Armagh GAA club has opened up its grounds for a Covid-19 testing facility.
Silverbridge GAA say they have “volunteered our premises free of charge for this vital service to avoid the journeys to Belfast and Craigavon for our local community”.
The Club added: “Our club car park testing site has been set up to cope with recent local demand.”
Testing will take place between 9.30am-3.30pm and can be booked here.
Newry and Armagh Sinn Fein MLA Conor Murphy commented: “A fantastic gesture by Silverbridge GAA club. Making their car park available for COVID-19 tests allows all in the local community easier access to these essential services and is much appreciated.
“The GAA has led from the front throughout Covid-19 and been central to supporting all and in particular vulnerable citizens.”
