The Drop Inn Ministries charity shop located on the Dobbin Road at Richhill are appealing for witnesses after their shop was “ransacked” overnight.
The store manager discovered what they believe to be a suspected burglary at approximately 9.25am this morning (December 3).
Speaking to Armagh I this morning, a representative for the organisation described how a door had been “smashed through” and the space behind the till “wrecked”.
While a stock of the store’s losses and damages is still to be taken it is believed that the perpetrators stole a till system and donations box.
The representative said: “It’s absolutely awful way to start the morning and we would really appreciate any help from the public if they saw anything or have any information.”
Police confirmed that a report had been made to them at 9.30am this morning but have no further details at this time.
