Police are currently assisting with a rescue on the Mournes after a group got into some difficulty earlier due to poor weather and limited visibility.
Local police along with PSNI Search & Rescue specialists and Mourne Search and Rescue are involved in the operation along with other emergency services.
A spokesperson said: “We believe all members of the group are accounted for and efforts are now underway to help them off the mountain.”
There is no further information at this time on the group involved.
