Renault Clio used in three county Armagh burglaries yesterday

A silver Renault Clio is being linked to a number of burglaries in the south Armagh area yesterday.

Police are appealing for information following the incidents and have identified a Renault with the registration UCZ 8860.

Around 2.15pm a number of males were seen at the rear of a property in Finnegans Road, Killeavy. This house had been entered and ransacked and the males made off in the silver Renault Clio.

Between 2.15pm and 3.45pm entry was forced to a house on Upper Fathom Road, Newry. A number of rooms were ransacked and a sum of cash taken. Three males were seen travelling in a silver Renault Clio.

A third burglary occurred at Grants Road, Jonesorough,  between 1.45pm and 5pm. The house was ransacked.

Police would like to hear from anyone who noticed any activity around these locations or has any information which may assist our investigations. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 657 100915.
