A woman is to appear in court following a fight in Portadown during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Police charged the 31-year-old following reports of a fight in Bridge Street area of the town.
The woman has been charged with common assault, criminal damage, two counts of assault on police, disorderly behaviour, resisting arrest and obstructing police.
She is alleged to have bitten and kicked the officers during the course of her arrest.
The woman will appear before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court in July.
As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Earlier in the evening, police in Portadown attended a series of separate incidents including: four different reports of missing persons ; four arrests for domestic related offences; and one injury road traffic collision.
