A Portadown street-food inspired restaurant has regrettably announced their decision to permanently close on the mouth of Christmas.
Street Dogs – which opened on the corner of Church Street five years ago – were known for their wide range of high quality street food from across the globe, including Fully Loaded Burgers, Bao Buns, Tacos, Fries, Cheesecakes, Mac ‘n’ Cheese Spring Rolls, Gyozas and so much more.
They also proudly boasted to be Portadown’s “only boba store” stocking BobaLoca inside their eye-catching, brightly coloured, graffiti-emblazoned premises.
Informing customers of their decision on December 21, Street Dogs said via Facebook: “Sadly, today is our last day trading at Street Dogs Street Kitchen, Portadown.”
To help clear remaining stock they provided a final farewell offer of 20% off all online orders before adding: “This place has meant everything to us — early starts, late finishes, hard graft, big laughs, and memories we’ll never forget.
“We poured our hearts into every service, and the support from Portadown has been overwhelming from day one.
“Thank you to everyone who showed up, come out in the rain or snow, spread the word, and believed in us. This chapter is ending, but what we built — and the people we met — will stay with us forever.
“With heavy hearts, we say goodbye. Once a Street Dog, always a Street Dog.”
Sharing their sadness and well wishes, one customer said: “Anthony and everyone at Street Dogs, I’m so sorry to hear your news.
“So glad we made it up to try your brilliant food this year.. Great memories of you feeding our family at Sunflower Festival, Hilden and others.
“Whatever you get up to next, I hope you’re all happy.”
